# Hydrogen Utopia secures Saudi Arabia investment certificate to advance waste-to-hydrogen projects

**Hydrogen Utopia International PLC (LON: HUI)** announced it has been **granted an Investment Registration Certificate** by the **Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA)**, formally authorising the company to operate in the Kingdom as a **100% foreign-owned entity**.

The certification enables HUI to **establish a local branch**, **hire staff**, **lease facilities**, and **participate in both public and private projects**, including **government tenders** and **research and development initiatives** aligned with **Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030**.

The company said the move positions it to **expand waste-to-hydrogen and decarbonisation projects** across the Middle East using **InEnTec’s TRL9 plasma gasification technology**, which converts **non-recyclable plastics into low-carbon hydrogen and syngas**.

Chief Executive **Aleksandra Binkowska** described the certification as a **major milestone**, adding that it “marks a significant step in expanding Hydrogen Utopia’s circular economy solutions and building partnerships within one of the world’s fastest-growing clean energy markets.”
