Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting

On 18 May 2021, Crystal Amber Fund Limited, a shareholder with a beneficial holding of 14.32% of the issued ordinary shares of Hurricane, served a requisition notice on the Company pursuant to section 303 of the Companies Act 2006 (the “Companies Act”), requiring that the Company convenes a general meeting of shareholders for the purposes of considering ordinary resolutions removing from, and appointing to office, directors of the Company.

The Company today, 7 June 2021, gives notice that the requisitioned EGM will be held on 5 July 2021 at 11:00 BST. In light of the current social distancing measures aimed at reducing the transmission of the COVID-19 virus in the United Kingdom, please note that attendance at the EGM in person will not be possible.

The EGM will be held as a hybrid meeting, in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association. Shareholders can access the EGM through a combination of a live video webcast via the Lumi website and an audio conference facility. Full details of how to access the meeting, ask questions and vote at the meeting are outlined in the notice of EGM.

All shareholders are encouraged to submit their vote by proxy, well in advance of the meeting. Details of how to do this are contained in the notice of EGM. All valid proxy votes (whether submitted electronically or in hard copy form) will be included in the poll to be taken at the meeting.

The result of the EGM will be announced after its conclusion and published on the Company’s website.
