Helium One Global (AIM: HE1) has announced the first helium sale completed under its short-term offtake agreement at the Galactica-Pegasus development project in Colorado.
The project’s operator, Blue Star Helium, has delivered a second helium trailer following the initial sale completed on 14 July 2026. Regular trailer exchanges have now been scheduled, with replacement trailers beginning to fill on arrival.
The Pinon Canyon Plant has stabilised at its current production rate, allowing the joint venture to focus on recurring helium sales and cash flow generation.
Helium One holds a 50% working interest in the project.
Chief executive Lorna Blaisse said the second sale represented another important milestone for the company’s US helium asset and demonstrated the continued progress being made by the operating partner.
Production is expected to increase progressively towards the plant’s full design capacity through planned debottlenecking work, improvements to the gathering system and further well development.
The joint venture is also assessing the potential to deepen existing wells to expose additional reservoir intervals and increase flow rates.
Subject to permit approval, three new development wells are planned for the second half of 2026. These are expected to be connected to the Pinon Canyon Plant and increase both raw gas throughput and helium output.
Blue Star said it does not intend to announce every future trailer exchange now that regular deliveries have begun, but will continue to report significant production and commercial milestones.
