Hamak Backs Vaultz Plan to Exit Bitcoin Treasury Strategy

Hamak Strategy Limited (LSE: HAMA) has confirmed that it intends to support proposals by Vaultz Capital plc (AQSE: V3TC) to withdraw its Bitcoin treasury policy and seek authority to dispose of its Bitcoin holdings.

Hamak holds 6.5 million ordinary shares in Vaultz, acquired as a financial and strategic investment.

Vaultz has convened a general meeting for 21 July 2026 to vote on the proposed changes.

Hamak said it plans to vote in favour of both resolutions, arguing that they could give Vaultz greater flexibility to realise value from its Bitcoin holdings and potentially reposition itself as a cash-backed acquisition platform.

Vaultz previously reported an unaudited net asset value of approximately £8 million, equivalent to around 3.1p per share, following a £1 million subscription. Its asset base included 134 Bitcoin.

Hamak believes that, if Vaultz can sell its Bitcoin holdings in an orderly manner and redeploy the proceeds into a disciplined transaction, the company could retain meaningful value as a listed, cash-backed vehicle.

Mike Murphy, Hamak’s Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Director, said the company supported practical measures that could unlock balance sheet value and move Vaultz from passive asset holding towards active value creation.

Hamak said it will continue to monitor developments at Vaultz alongside its own capital allocation priorities, including the advancement of its West African gold portfolio and its digital asset treasury strategy.
