**ECR Minerals outlines strategy to become a multi-asset Australian gold producer**

[ECR Minerals plc (AIM: ECR)](https://www.investegate.co.uk/announcement/rns/ecr-minerals--ecr/unaudited-half-yearly-results/9642970) reported a transformational first half as it accelerated its transition from a junior explorer towards becoming a multi-asset Australian gold producer through a series of acquisitions and project advancements.

The company completed the acquisition of the Raglan Project, a fully permitted alluvial gold mining operation in Queensland, while the post-period acquisition of Paleogold added near-term production assets and an experienced operational team to drive future growth.

Operational progress included completion of an underground survey at the Maddens project, expected to shorten development timelines by up to three weeks while improving understanding of the wider mineralised system. Drone LiDAR surveys at Raglan and Maddens have also identified additional exploration targets, while further work continued across the Lolworth, Blue Mountain, Creswick and Tambo projects.

Financially, ECR strengthened its position after raising £1.5 million in January 2026. Net assets increased to **£7.12 million** from **£5.52 million** a year earlier, while total comprehensive expenses narrowed to **£225,565** from **£720,821**. The company also retains approximately **A$77 million** of unused tax losses, which it expects to offset future production profits.

**Chairman Nick Tulloch** **said** ECR had fundamentally repositioned the business from exploration towards production, with the ambition of operating **four producing Australian gold assets**—Raglan, Maddens, Blue Mountain and Salt Bush—by the middle of next year. He added that the company believes its expanding portfolio offers both near-term cash generation and significant district-scale exploration upside.
