He has published more than 300 peer-reviewed papers, co-authored four books and holds 14 patents.\n\nProfessor Knappenberger is Professor of Chemistry and Physics at Penn State and leads research into optical, electronic and spin properties in structurally precise nanomaterials, with a focus on gold nanoclusters.\n\nChief executive R. Michael Jones said the appointments bring deep scientific, engineering and intellectual property expertise into Delta’s strategic decision-making process.\n\nHe said both academics lead research programmes central to Delta’s investment thesis that gold engineered at the nanoscale can form the basis of a differentiated quantum technology platform.\n\nDelta also announced the issue of 336,000 new ordinary shares following the exercise of investor warrants at 15p per share.\n\nAdmission of the new shares to trading on Aquis is expected on or around 23 July 2026.\n\nFollowing admission, Delta’s issued share capital will comprise 65,851,791 ordinary shares."}
