Defence Holdings Partners with Oracle to Support Defence Technology Accelerator

Defence Holdings PLC (LON: ALRT) has announced a strategic partnership with Oracle aimed at strengthening its accelerator programme for emerging defence and national security technology companies.

Under the agreement, Oracle will become the programme’s hyperscale cloud partner, providing infrastructure support, industry collaboration opportunities and access to defence-focused ecosystems designed to help accelerate the commercialisation and deployment of innovative technologies.

The accelerator programme is focused on supporting early-stage companies operating in strategically important defence sectors, including agentic artificial intelligence, cognitive warfare, critical infrastructure protection and autonomous systems.

As part of the partnership, members of Oracle’s Defence Ecosystem will benefit from accelerated access to the programme, creating a pipeline of defence and dual-use technology businesses that can be supported through operational development, customer engagement and commercial growth.

Defence Holdings said the initiative is designed to reduce barriers that often prevent promising technology companies from successfully transitioning into defence and national security markets. Access to cloud infrastructure, industry expertise and established defence networks is expected to play a key role in helping participants scale their technologies and reach deployment readiness more quickly.

The company expects the first cohort of accelerator participants to include a significant number of businesses already operating within Oracle’s defence ecosystem.

Chief Executive Andrew Roughan said the collaboration enhances the support available to companies within the programme and strengthens Defence Holdings’ broader ambition of building an integrated platform for emerging sovereign defence capabilities.

The partnership also aligns with increasing government and industry focus on accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies across defence environments, particularly in areas such as AI-enabled operations, information warfare, infrastructure resilience and autonomous systems.

By combining Oracle’s cloud capabilities and industry reach with Defence Holdings’ defence technology focus, the company believes the accelerator programme can become a valuable pathway for innovative defence businesses seeking to move from development into operational deployment.
