Corero Network Security (AIM: CNS) has launched AI-Augmented Cloud-Assist for SmartWall ONE, expanding its DDoS protection platform with cloud-based AI analysis, threat intelligence and automated policy optimisation.
The new capability creates a continuous intelligence loop between Corero’s cloud platform and customers’ on-premises SmartWall ONE deployments. AI analyses attack telemetry to identify emerging threats and recommend new protection policies, which can then be applied manually or automatically within seconds.
Corero said the system is designed to improve response times and mitigation accuracy while retaining human oversight from its security specialists.
The company is targeting AI data centres, NeoCloud providers, service providers and digital enterprises, where low-latency protection at the network edge is increasingly important as AI workloads and critical digital infrastructure expand.
Chief Executive Carl Herberger said the technology combines cloud-scale intelligence, edge-based mitigation and human expertise to strengthen cyber resilience, describing AI-assisted protection as an increasingly important part of the future of DDoS defence.
