”What’s changed in the last couple of years, we’re not quite sure why but probably the political scene, people have become much more risk-averse”.

”The exploration and mining sector generally is pretty hard to evaluate … but essentially risk investment has gone away”, Hinde says.

”These guys who are exploring can’t go the bank and get debt capital it’s all equity capital … so you’re asking investors to stump up for shares in tiny companies on the off chance they find something”
