Recorded on Friday, 3rd December on the Share Talk webinar channel, Jason Brewer, Commercial Director of Caracal Gold gave a presentation before answering holders questions.
Caracal was established to acquire and develop under-exploited gold mining opportunities in East Africa, with the medium-term goal of producing circa 50,000 ounces of gold per annum with a resource in excess of 2 million ounces.
To this end, it is currently focused on the optimisation of its existing producing asset, the Kilimapesa Mine in Kenya, where it aims to produce +25,000 oz gold per annum and build the current JORC Resource to in excess of 2 million ounces. Additionally, the Company will look to utilise its experienced executive team to further develop Caracal’s gold production profile through the acquisition of other opportunities in the East Africa region.
Mr Brewer is the Finance Director of London Stock Exchange-listed Caracal Gold plc which is the 100% shareholder of Kilimapesa Gold Pty Limited and which operates the Kilimapesa Gold Mining and Processing Operations in Narok County, Kenya.
Jason Brewer has over 28 years of experience in international mining, financial markets and investment banking.
Caracal Gold plc is currently completing a dual listing on the Nairobi Securities Exchange and will be the first mining company to be listed on the exchange when it lists at the end of August 2021.
Mr Brewer has held the roles of Managing Director, Chairman and Non-Executive Director of several London Stock Exchange, Australian Stock Exchange and Frankfurt Stock Exchange-listed mining and exploration companies including, Caracal Gold plc, De Grey Mining Limited, Universal Resources Limited, Terramin Limited, Continental Coal Limited, Kaboko Mining Limited, Kupang Resources Limited, Black Mountain Resources Limited, Global Oil and Gas Limited, Cape Lambert Resources Limited, Winmar Resources Limited, Force Commodities Limited, Vector Resources Limited and Tao Commodities Limited.
