We talk with Bill Trew, Non-Executive Chairman and Emma Priestley, CEO of Goldstone Resources Ltd today covering the RNS announcement“Gold anomaly identified at Akrokeri-Homase Project”.
Emma provides an update of progress being made in accelerating development at their flagship Akrokerri-Homase Gold Project and upcoming milestones to look out for.
GoldStone Resources Limited (“Goldstone”) an AIM listed company focused on developing the Homase/Akrokeri Project in Ghana, which hosts a JORC compliant gold resource presently 602,000 ounces at an average grade of 1.77 grams per tonne and includes 100,000 ounces in oxide material.
The Homase/Akrokori project is located near AngloGold Ashanti’s Obuasi mine within the well mineralised Ashanti Gold Belt in Ghana where more than seventy million ounces of gold have been discovered.
Goldstone continues to review its exploration projects in Senegal and Gabon. In Senegal, the company holds the Sangola “Permis de Recherche”. A permit wide termite mound sampling programme has identified several robust gold anomalies at surface. In Gabon it holds the Oyem and Ngoutou permits in Gabon (Central Africa) both contain robust gold in soil anomalies in excess of 15 kilometres length.
