Atlantic Lithium Ltd (AIM: ALL, OTCQX: ALLIF, ASX: A11) has expanded its drilling program at the Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana by 8,000 meters (m), increasing it by 43%, following the recent issuance of a mining license by the Ghanaian government.
This expansion brings the total drilling program to 26,500m and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2024.
Atlantic reported that recent assays from in-fill holes at the Ewoyaa Main, Anokyi, and Ewoyaa South-2 deposits have not only extended the mineralization beyond the known resource area but have also consistently delivered high-grade results. Shallow high-grade infill drill intersections revealed lithium grades ranging from 0.93% to 1.46% over widths spanning 14 to 53m at depths of 81m.
