(AIM/TSXV: AXL)](https://www.investegate.co.uk/announcement/rns/arrow-exploration-corp-cdi---axl/arrow-announces-ic-6-well-results-/9755148)has reached a record corporate production rate of more than **6,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day**, supported by recent drilling, workovers and its acquisition of the Thorsby field in Alberta.\n\nThe company said the new production high reflects continued operational progress across its Colombian and Canadian portfolio and believes output can continue to grow from its existing prospect inventory.\n\nArrow also reported an estimated cash balance of **US$21.8 million as of 1 September 2026**, after making an US$8.9 million payment for the Thorsby acquisition.\n\nAt the Icaco field in Colombia, the **IC-6 well** encountered a fault and suffered lost circulation before reaching all of its planned targets.\n\nManagement elected to case the well early and complete it as a **water disposal well**, a move Arrow expects will reduce operating costs and improve water-handling efficiency at Icaco.\n\nLogging nevertheless identified **6.5 feet measured depth of net pay in the Carbonera C7 formation** and a further 5 feet in the Guadalupe formation, with management encouraged by reservoir quality.\n\nThe well was terminated before reaching the deeper Gacheta and Ubaque targets.\n\nArrow has already moved on to the next well, with **IC-7 spudded on 1 September**. The vertical well will target the C7, Gacheta and Ubaque formations.\n\nThe company is also expanding drilling infrastructure at Icaco, adding five more cellars to take the total to 15.\n\n**Chief executive Marshall Abbott said** surpassing **6,000 boe/d** reflected the success of recent drilling and workovers at Tapir, with production from the multi-zone Icaco discovery exceeding initial expectations.\n\nHe said Arrow is adding **five more drilling cellars at Icaco**, taking the total to 15, to support further wells targeting the C7, Gacheta and Ubaque formations.\n\nAbbott added that although IC-6 was terminated early after encountering a fault, converting it into a water disposal well should improve water handling and production efficiency. He also highlighted that the best Icaco production wells have achieved payback in **less than two months**.\n\nArrow continues to generate strong netbacks, which Abbott said are strengthening the balance sheet and supporting continued development at Icaco."}
