Angus Energy plc (AIM: ANGS) is pleased to announce that further to its RNS of 11 August 2020 it wishes to update shareholders on the timetable for the extension of its pipeline at Saltfleetby.
Satisfaction of all planning conditions was agreed today with Lincolnshire County Council and the Company has instructed contractors to commence drilling and trenching works on the pipeline extension to the National Grid Theddlethorpe Entry Point.
Contractors have already begun exploratory works and the principal heavy works are expected to be concluded by the 6th of November followed by tie-in of the ‘Golden Weld’ to National Grid. This is the point where the newly laid pipeline (an Angus asset) is connected to the National Grid owned infrastructure. Backfilling of testing and access pits is also expected to be completed during the remainder of November.
