Feed grade during the quarter increased to 0.152% tin from 0.139% a year earlier.\n\nPlant availability improved to **91% in the first half**, although utilisation fell to 89% from 94% in the comparative period.\n\nThe higher output resulted in **36 shipments during the half**, up 44% from 25 a year earlier.\n\nAndrada is now moving into execution of its next growth phase after securing **NAD98 million, approximately £4.4 million, of funding** from Bank Windhoek and the Development Bank of Namibia for operational upgrades at Uis.\n\nThe programme includes a new crushing and **ore-sorting circuit**, with long-lead crushing equipment already ordered. Ore sorting is intended to remove lower-grade material before processing, increasing the grade fed into the plant.\n\nAndrada expects the project to increase annual tin concentrate production by **50%-70% to around 2,500-3,000 tonnes**, equivalent to approximately **1,500-1,900 tonnes of contained tin**.\n\nHigher concentrate production is also expected to reduce the applicable royalty rate, potentially improving margins and cash generation.\n\nFor investors, the key development is that **production growth is already being delivered before the major plant upgrades are installed**. The focus now shifts to project execution and whether the ore-sorting circuit can deliver the targeted step-up in output while improving unit economics and cash generation.\n\n**Anthony Viljoen, Chief Executive Officer, commented:**\n\n*“The strong performance in the first half of FY2027 resulted in contained tin production increasing by 13% year-on-year to 576 tonnes and tin concentrate production increasing by 11% to 955 tonnes. This performance demonstrates the benefit of the operational improvements we have made at Uis and provides a stronger base from which to deliver the next phase of growth. The higher feed grades and processing rate supported the increased tin production and the recently secured NAD98 million bank funding package from Bank Windhoek and Development Bank of Namibia will enable us to implement the installation of the ore sorting circuit.”*\n\n**Investor takeaway: ***Andrada Mining increased first-half contained tin production by 13% as higher feed grades and improved plant throughput lifted output ahead of its funded Uis expansion programme. The next major catalyst is execution of the ore-sorting project, which is targeting a 50%-70% increase in annual concentrate production.*"}
