{"id":138484,"title":"Amaroq Reports High-Grade Underground Results From Nalunaq Gold Mine","publisher":"Share Talk","author":"sharetalk","published":"2026-07-16T10:55:38+00:00","modified":"2026-07-16T10:55:38+00:00","canonical_url":"https://www.share-talk.com/amaroq-reports-high-grade-underground-results-from-nalunaq-gold-mine/","markdown_url":"https://www.share-talk.com/amaroq-reports-high-grade-underground-results-from-nalunaq-gold-mine.md","json_url":"https://www.share-talk.com/amaroq-reports-high-grade-underground-results-from-nalunaq-gold-mine.json","category":"Mining","categories":["Mining"],"tags":["Amaroq Minerals","AMRQ","Danish Growth Fund","Eddie Wyvill","Eldur Olafsson","Europe","Gold","Greenland","Greenland Venture Fund","Jaco Crouse","Kvanefjeld mine","Nalunaq","Narsaq","North America","Reykjavík","Sava Copper Belt","URANIUM","Warwick Morley-Jepson"],"featured_image":"https://i0.wp.com/www.share-talk.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/07/GddQ1bxXoAAmTym.jpg?fit=1280%2C853&quality=89&ssl=1","format":"news","language":"en-GB","content":"[Amaroq Minerals](https://www.investegate.co.uk/announcement/gnw/amaroq-ltd---amrq/nalunaq-mine-underground-drilling-results/9671219) has reported further high-grade underground drilling results from its Nalunaq Gold Mine in southern Greenland.\n\nThe results come from the company’s ongoing resource definition and production support drilling programme, which is designed to support near-term mine planning and reduce geological uncertainty ahead of mining.\n\nAmaroq said drilling continues to confirm the high-grade nature and continuity of the Main Vein within the Mountain Block, with an average grade of 42.8g/t gold.\n\nSixteen of the 37 holes with assay results returned grades above 30g/t gold, while 30% of holes returned grades above 60g/t gold.\n\nHeadline intersections included 132.5g/t gold over 0.50 metres in hole NAL-UG-2601, 132.0g/t gold over 0.50 metres in NAL-UG-2640, and 113.5g/t gold over 0.60 metres in NAL-UG-2534.\n\nOther notable results included 104.5g/t gold over 0.54 metres and 84.8g/t gold over 0.83 metres.\n\nThe company said its underground drilling strategy is intended to maintain a rolling 12 to 24-month production inventory ahead of mining, supporting operational flexibility as Nalunaq ramps up.\n\nDrilling from the 802 and 773 Levels targeted planned stopes, while drilling from the 500 Level tested an area between interpreted faulted domains where definitive stopes have not yet been designed.\n\nAmaroq said the latest drilling results fall after the data cut-off for the forthcoming MRE5 Mineral Resource update, meaning they represent additional upside for future resource updates.\n\nThe next phase of underground drilling will target previously untested areas of the Main Vein from the planned 810 Exploration Drive.\n\nSurface channel sampling is also underway between Levels 804 and 996, targeting both the Main Vein and 75 Vein, with a number of samples showing visible gold.\n\nVP Exploration James Gilbertson said the latest results demonstrate the “exceptional grade and continuity” of the Main Vein and provide further confidence in the geological model and mine plan.\n\nSeveral reported intersections are currently supported by onsite Aqua Regia assay results, with external Fire Assay verification still in progress as part of Amaroq’s routine quality assurance programme."}
