Amaroq Minerals Ltd (AIM: AMRQ) has announced a series of new high-grade gold discoveries from its 2025 field exploration programme across South Greenland, returning assays of up to 38.7 g/t gold (Au) and 1.98% copper (Cu).
The results span satellite projects beyond the company’s core Nalunaq Mine and Nanoq Project, highlighting significant exploration upside across its broader Greenland portfolio.
Key discoveries include:

A 2 km high-grade gold zone at Qoorormiut North Ridge (Vagar), yielding assays up to 28.6 g/t Au.

A gold-copper system at Isortup Qoorua (Anoritooq), grading up to 38.7 g/t Au and 1.98% Cu.

New gold-bearing zones at Napasorsuaq, Tartoq, Ippatit, and Grænseland, with grades ranging between 0.7 and 3.9 g/t Au.
In total, over 540 samples were collected across 11 exploration licences, confirming several new mineralised zones and validating historic gold showings.
James Gilbertson, VP Exploration, commented that these discoveries highlight the significant untapped potential of the Nanortalik Gold Belt, reinforcing Greenland’s position as an emerging gold frontier. He added that the findings substantially expand Amaroq’s multi-asset growth pipeline, setting the stage for targeted drill programmes in 2026.
