Amaroq Ltd (AIM: AMRQ) Exceptional High-Grade Mineralisation at Black Angel Mine in Greenland

Amaroq Ltd (AIM: AMRQ) has announced outstanding re-assay results from the Black Angel mine in Greenland, confirming exceptionally high-grade mineralisation averaging 24.6% zinc, 28.1% lead, and 295 g/t silver. The assays also revealed commercially significant levels of critical minerals — germanium (44 ppm), gallium (21 ppm), and cadmium (1,328 ppm).

The company confirmed that all conditions precedent for the acquisition of Black Angel have now been satisfied, with final approval on the adjoining Kangerluarsuk licences expected in Q4 2025. Together, the assets will form Amaroq’s 100%-owned West Greenland Hub, its second mining district, focused on zinc, lead, silver, and critical metals. The hub benefits from existing infrastructure, including port access and camp facilities.

CEO Eldur Olafsson said the results underscore the strategic importance of the project to Western supply chains, particularly given constrained global supplies of gallium and germanium. He added that the findings confirm Black Angel as Amaroq’s next development project, following the proven model of its Nalunaq gold mine.

Technical studies and development planning for the Black Angel project are scheduled to begin in 2026, marking the next step in Amaroq’s strategy to build a diversified portfolio of high-value mineral assets across Greenland.
