(LON: AMRQ)** has commenced its 2026 resource drilling programme at the **Nanoq gold project in South Greenland**, targeting a potential maiden Mineral Resource Estimate later this year.\n\nThree company-owned drill rigs are initially targeting the **Central Zone**, where previous drilling returned high-grade intersections including **187.4g/t gold over 1.5m** and **19.6g/t gold over 4.9m**.\n\nDrilling will focus on increasing data density and establishing continuity before stepping out along strike and testing parallel structures, including the **West 1 Zone**, around 500m west, where surface sampling returned grades of up to **9.5g/t gold**.\n\nThe programme is expected to be broadly comparable with the **4,807 metres drilled across 27 holes in 2025**. Subject to results, the combined drilling data could support Nanoq’s maiden Mineral Resource Estimate before the end of 2026.\n\nAmaroq is also conducting metallurgical testing with **SGS Lakefield** to assess whether Nanoq material could be processed through the existing gravity and flotation circuit at its **Nalunaq gold mine**, potentially opening the door to near-term bulk sampling and trial processing.\n\nThe company will additionally assess potential harbour and road infrastructure to improve access and reduce development costs from 2027 onwards.\n\nVP Exploration **James Gilbertson** said Amaroq believes Nanoq could become its next gold project in Greenland, with this year’s drilling representing a key step towards establishing its economic potential."}
