Alien Metals Limited (AIM: UFO) has reported further encouraging drill results from the Elizabeth Hill Silver Project in Western Australia, where joint venture partner West Coast Silver is extending mineralisation beyond the current resource model.
Diamond drilling at Elizabeth Hill North returned 67.1 metres at 19 g/t silver from surface in hole 26WCDD036, including higher-grade internal zones of 12.3m at 22 g/t silver and 10.9m at 24 g/t silver.
Other significant intersections included 48.5m at 19 g/t silver from 1.5m, including 25.5m at 23 g/t silver, and 24m at 14 g/t silver from 35.5m.
The latest holes have extended and infilled a broad near-surface mineralised zone to the west and north of the current Mineral Resource Estimate block model, with the company saying the area remains open and could add both volume and contained silver to the existing resource.
At Elizabeth Hill Deeps, drilling has helped constrain the northern extent of a newly identified high-grade zone, which remains open to the east and south.
Final assays from the current diamond programme are expected by the end of August, with results feeding into an updated JORC 2012 Mineral Resource Estimate in Q4 2026 and a planned Scoping Study.
Further step-out and infill drilling is also planned during the second half of the year.
Alien Metals holds a 30% interest in Elizabeth Hill and also owns approximately 8.7% of West Coast Silver.
