Alba has announced the appointment this past week of two experienced oil and gas professionals to advise the Company as its significant investments in the UK onshore oil and gas sector, at Horse Hill and Brockham, enter a critical phase in their development.
Sue Corrigan, appointed as Alba’s Technical Consultant – Oil & Gas, is a geologist and geoscientist with 40 years of industry experience, whose career has included positions at Shell, Amoco and Tullow Oil.
Feroz Sultan has been appointed as Alba’s Special Adviser – Oil & Gas. A geologist and executive with over 40 years’ experience, Feroz spent six years as CEO of Petro Ventures International, a private company which participated in the drilling of wells which resulted in establishing gas fields in the UK North Sea and offshore Romania, as well as three years as COO of Grove Energy Ltd, the AIM and TSX-V listed company which merged with Stratic Energy in 2007 for C$123 million.
