Ajax Resources Plc (AQSE: AJAX) has secured approval for admission to Euronext Growth Oslo, with trading scheduled to begin on Monday, 26 October 2026, under the ticker AJAXR, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion into European capital markets.
The natural resources investment company confirmed that its ordinary shares will continue trading on the Aquis Growth Market, creating a dual-market structure that broadens access for Nordic and international investors while retaining its established UK shareholder base.
The Oslo admission follows Ajax’s successful £2.32 million fundraising, which attracted institutional and private investor support ahead of its planned European market expansion.
The company believes the additional quotation will strengthen its visibility among international investors, particularly those focused on natural resources, mining and exploration opportunities.
Chief Executive Ippolito Ingo Cattaneo welcomed the approval, describing Euronext Growth Oslo as an important market for natural resources companies and highlighting the role Aquis has played in supporting Ajax’s development.
He said the dual quotation builds on the company’s existing market presence, potentially improving access to international capital while maintaining its UK listing.
Ajax is focused on advancing exploration opportunities across South America and Europe, with copper, gold and silver forming important elements of its natural resources strategy.
Cattaneo highlighted the increasing strategic importance of copper to the global economy, particularly as electrification, energy infrastructure and industrial demand support longer-term interest in the metal.
He also pointed to the continuing economic significance of gold and silver as the company progresses its exploration portfolio.
The admission to Euronext Growth Oslo represents an important corporate milestone, although any improvement in share liquidity, investor participation or access to capital will depend on trading activity and market conditions following admission.
Separately, Ajax issued a correction concerning the shareholding of Elmlea Properties Limited, clarifying information previously disclosed on 21 October 2026.
The company confirmed that Elmlea, together with other ordinary shares connected to Michael Hutchinson, holds 4,747,500 ordinary shares, representing 3.95% of the company’s existing issued share capital.
The earlier announcement had incorrectly stated a holding of 4,787,500 shares, equivalent to 3.98%. Ajax said its website would be updated to reflect the corrected figures.
For investors, the new Oslo quotation provides an additional market through which Ajax shares can be traded, potentially increasing the company’s exposure to Nordic investors and supporting its longer-term financing and exploration ambitions.
Attention will now turn to the first day of trading on 26 October and the company’s ongoing exploration programmes, as Ajax seeks to build on its expanded international market presence and advance its natural resources portfolio.
