With the clocks going back and the nights getting longer it might be a chance to plan what you’ll be doing in those winter evening. To help you with that, Share Talk are hosting another Investor’s Evening on the back of our recent successful event in September at the NEX Exchange. It will be held at the Village Hotel, Walsall on Thursday 30 November from 6pm. This is where Share Talk held our first ever show with Shard Stockbrokers back in the day. To get yourself a seat follow this link. Now to look at what has been happening over the last week.
Zinc Media Group Plc (AIM:ZIN)

Ever heard of the term “Super Indie”? Forget about visions of Indiana Jones turning into a superhero as David Galan from Zinc Media Group spoke to us about what it means in his industry. He also covers their recent acquisition of Scottish TV outfit Tern Productions and discusses how ZIN are looking to return value to shareholders in 2018.
SDX Energy Inc (TSXV,AIM:SDX)

If you like Spuds that aren’t of the potato kind, then you might have been interested to see that SDX Energy announced the spud of its KSR-15 well on the Sebou area in Morocco.
The well is anticipated to take 21-30 days to drill and complete. If successful the well will be completed, flow tested and connected to the existing infrastructure. They expect these activities to be carried out within 30 days of the drilling rig departing the location. This is the second of a nine well drilling programme on the Company’s Sebou, Gharb Centre and Lalla Mimouna permits in Morocco.
As per the announcement on 11 October 2017, SDX also confirmed that its KSR-14 well will be put on test production within the next 10 days.
Greatland Gold Plc (AIM:GGP)

With £4 million in the bank you’d wonder what plans Gervaise Heddle would do with. Unlike myself, he plans to advance all 6 of their 100% projects for the next 2 years. We took the time to catch up with Gervaise and you can have a listen to his plans. I’ll just keep dreaming of what I’d do with all that money in the meantime.
Ascent Resources Plc (AIM:AST)

Just in time for winter approaching, the board of Ascent Resources announced this week that export production had commenced from the Petisovci field in Slovenia to INA in Croatia. Gas flowed for the first time to the INA processing facility at Molve in Croatia. Ascent has been involved with the Petisovci concession for over ten years and around €45 million has been invested to bring the project to this stage. The commencement of export gas production marks a milestone for the Company and this project.
Saffron Energy Plc (AIM:SRON)

Saffron show that they are cooking on gas when they announced their latest quarterly results. We’ll, maybe not cooking but they are producing a lot of it. Production from the Saffron Energy operated gas fields, Sillaro (100%) and Bezzecca (90%), has increased by 41% from 1,762 million standard cubic metres (62.2 mmcf) in the quarter ended 30 June 2017 to 2,481 million standard cubic metres (87.6 mmscf) in the quarter ended 30 September. This increase was driven primarily by the ramp-up of production from Bezzecca in mid-July due to the introduction of production from the S levels (on top of the production from the A levels).
I bet they don’t worry too much about the heating costs in their offices.
Reabold Resources Plc (AIM:RBD)

There have been a lot of rumours doing the rounds about potential assets this company might be purchasing now they have brought Stephen Williams and Sachin Oza on board. They finally announced their first deal with Corallian Energy Ltd which will give Reabold a 35.4 percent interest, with the right to appoint a director to the board of directors of Corallian.

Thought of the week
It can be frustrating for many investors who are waiting on big news with their investments. While some may work out, it’s often hard to sit there and dwell on it. Remember, life carries on around you. Don’t miss the important things.
