Kendrick Resources PLC (LON: KEN) is progressing exploration at its Bonya rare earth project in Namibia, where it holds a 70% interest in the Teufelskuppe and Kieshöhe licences.
The company is currently undertaking a diamond drilling programme across seven priority targets at Teufelskuppe, while a second drill rig has been deployed at Kieshöhe to accelerate exploration and support a maiden mineral resource estimate.
Historical sampling highlights the project’s high-grade potential, with results of up to 4.79 wt% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO), including strong neodymium and praseodymium enrichment—positioning Teufelskuppe among the more prospective carbonatite-hosted rare earth systems globally.
Kendrick has also completed a new Digital Elevation Model, with an updated volumetric and tonnage estimate expected shortly in line with JORC 2012 standards. Early drilling data indicates mineralisation extends significantly at depth, supporting the scale potential of the project.

As we move forward to further assess the economic potential of the Teufelskuppe carbonatite complex we are now in the middle of a substantial diamond drill programme that encompasses all seven key targets with a view to increasing our knowledge of the depth and style of mineralisation and thus the economic potential of this exciting project along with a parallel mirrored approach at Kieshöhe. Our key objective now is to match grade with tonnage and mineral recoverability”
