Jubilee Metals Group Plc has completed the disposal of its South African chrome and PGM operations to One Chrome (Pty) Ltd, with the second and final cash instalment of US$10 million expected to be received shortly.
Following the transaction, Jubilee is now fully focused on advancing its Zambian copper business, which management believes offers significant growth potential. The group retains its investment in the Tjate platinum project and confirmed that it is actively assessing options to monetise this asset at an appropriate time.
Management said it was pleased with the timely completion of the sale, describing it as an important step in sharpening the company’s strategic focus.
Shareholders are invited to submit questions ahead of Jubilee’s Annual General Meeting on 14 January 2026, with queries to be sent by email to the company in advance of the meeting.
Leon Coetzer, CEO of Jubilee, commented:
“I am pleased to report that we have executed this transaction within the timelines stipulated when first announced.
Thank you to the South African leadership team for all your efforts, not only in seeing this transaction to close, but for the hard work from you and all of our employees in building this business into one of the world’s largest chrome producers in just a few short years. I will eagerly follow your growth and wish you continued success.
I am excited to lead our remaining executive and Zambian copper team in replicating this success through our Copper Business and look forward to a year of delivering significant growth in our copper operations.”
