Synergia Energy Limited (AIM: SYN) has provided an operational update on its Cambay Production Sharing Contract (PSC), where the company holds a 50% working interest.
The workover of the C-64 well has been successfully completed, with the sucker rod pump (SRP) now operational. The well is currently undergoing clean-up prior to the assessment of its production potential.
The Aakash XIV 50T rig has since mobilised to the C-72 well, where workover operations are commencing to clean the well and install an SRP. Once complete, the campaign will move to the C-74 well, completing a three-well programme.
In parallel, drilling operations have begun on the new C-78 development well as of 4 November 2025, using the Kiri drilling rig.
Synergia said these activities form part of its ongoing efforts to enhance production and expand operations across the Cambay asset, underpinning its strategy to maximise value from the field.
