Audioboom Group PLC (AIM: BOOM) has reported a 400% year-on-year increase in underlying profit for Q2 2025, driven by strong performance from its Showcase tech-based advertising marketplace.
Adjusted EBITDA rose to $1.2 million, up from $0.2 million in the same period last year.
Revenue for the quarter grew 5% to $17.8 million, while gross margin improved to 23%, up from 18% a year ago. Booked revenue for the full year has surpassed $70 million—$5 million higher than in April and ahead of last year by the same margin.
Audioboom expanded its creator network with the addition of new tier one podcasts, including the latest Undisclosed series from Serial reporter Rabia Chaudry, and introduced adaptive advertising in partnership with Gumball FM. Showcase revenue rose 16% year-on-year, contributing to overall gross profit growth due to its higher-margin profile.
As of 30 June, cash stood at $2.5 million, with a further $2 million collected in early July and $3.4 million available via overdraft facilities.
“A very positive second quarter reflects the continued improvements we have made across the business,” said CEO Stuart Last.
