Greatland Gold PLC (AIM: GGP, OTC: GRLGF) has reported that surface sampling across its Panorama East, Panorama, and Panorama North areas indicates strong potential for nickel.
The company highlighted that 27 soil samples from the Ni_04 prospect showed nickel concentrations exceeding 0.1% across a 1.4km strike, with the highest sample yielding 0.3% nickel. These findings are located within the Dalton Suite ultramafics, identified as enriched in nickel and a likely host for primary nickel sulphide.
This sampling was part of a larger exploration effort, following an airborne electromagnetic survey. The survey revealed several unexplored conductors that are considered highly promising for further investigation.

Shaun Day, the managing director of Greatland, expressed optimism about the project, stating, “The extensive presence of the nickel-rich Dalton Suite ultramafics within our holdings, coupled with several yet-to-be-tested conductors, strengthens our belief in the potential for a significant nickel discovery at Panorama.”
Greatland’s next steps involve thorough testing of both the geochemical and geophysical anomalies identified in the area, as per Day’s statement.
