Touchstone Exploration Inc (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF) is gearing up for a significant production increase as it edges closer to initiating operations at the Cascadura field in Trinidad.
The firm announced that the recently constructed Cascadura facility had reached mechanical completion as of Sunday, 30 July.
Additionally, 70% of the pressure testing has been finished and the completion of electrical and instrumentation connections to Trinidad and Tobago’s National Gas Company pipeline is underway.
Touchstone’s CEO, Paul Baay, expressed the company’s committed efforts towards finalising the facility’s commissioning and eagerness to kick-start its first production.
He further emphasized their persistent aim to comply with or exceed all industry regulations and guidelines, with a continued focus on maintaining the highest health and safety standards throughout the facility’s completion.
Touchstone is planning to schedule the final inspection by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) this week before they begin introducing gas into the system. The MEEI had already conducted its initial inspection on 20 July.
Meanwhile, at the Royston-1X well, production testing is still ongoing. The company promised to keep the market informed as soon as the testing concludes.
