Oracle Coalfields PLC (AIM:ORCP), the UK energy developer of a combined lignite mineral resource and mine mouth power plant located in the Thar desert in the south-east of Sindh Province, Pakistan (the “Project”), today provides an update to the market of its progress in bringing its project to financial close and an update on operations.
China has for the first time extracted gas from an ice-like substance under the South China Sea considered key to future global energy supply.

Shares in Noble Group climbed by nearly a fifth after the embattled commodities trader confirmed it was in talks with a strategic investor, following a report it was in early discussions with China’s Sinochem about an equity investment. The stock rose as much as 16.8 per cent on Tuesday morning in Singapore, a day after Reuters reported that state-owned Sinochem was talking with the company about buying an equity stake.
