The Board of Thor Mining Plc (“Thor” or the “Company”) (AIM, ASX: THR), is pleased to provide guidance on priorities and strategies for 2017.

With the anticipated receipt of A$1.5million consideration payment from the sale of the Company’s residual 40% interest in the Spring Hill gold project, due at the end of February 2017, the Company anticipates accelerating project field exploration activity, along with continued detailed assessment of a number of attractive new projects.  Both streams of activity shall focus upon delivering value to investors in the short and medium term time frames.

Which Countries Are Damaged Most by Low Oil Prices?

Oil is by far the world’s most-traded commodity, with $786.3 billion of crude changing hands in international trade in 2015.

While low commodity prices can hurt any major producer, oil prices can have a particularly detrimental effect on oil-rich economies. This is because, for better or worse, many of these economies hold onto oil as an anchor for achieving growth, filling government coffers, and even fueling social programs.

If those revenues don’t materialize as planned, these countries turn increasingly fragile. In the worst case scenario, an extended period of low oil prices can cause the fate of an entire regime to hang by a thread.

Trinity Exploration & Production PLC LON:TRIN Q&A

Trinity Exploration, an independent E&P company focused solely on Trinidad and Tobago, has rejoining the junior AIM market after gaining approval from its creditors.

The company applied to the London Stock Exchange for 187.6m new ordinary shares, which form the placing and subscription, and were admitted to the junior market on the 11 January 2017. New Ordinary Shares at a Placing Price of 4.98 pence per New Ordinary Share.
