Yesterday Share Talk spoke with Greg Kuenzel the Managing Director of Noricum Gold Ltd #NMG. This follows Noricum’s RNS which announced that the area of mineralisation at the Kvemo Bolnisi target area is looking even better than first thought. In addition, it has signed an MOU with its local partner’s production companies, JSC RMG Gold and JSC RMG Copper (together ‘RMG’), outlining the terms for a mining and processing agreement for future production from its Georgian project using its partner’s infrastructure. During the interview Greg addresses concerns with regards to production and reiterates the long-term potential of Noricum’s now significant assets.

Greatland Gold released news to market on Tuesday 9th August that planning has commenced for a comprehensive drilling programme at the companies Ernest Giles gold project in Central Western Australia; the region is home to several successful exploration discoveries such as Tropicana (AngloGold ASX:AGG), which contains over 7 million ounces, and Yamarna (Gold Road Resources ASX:GOR), with over 6 million ounces.

BMR released news that on 5 August 2016 it entered into the anticipated off-take agreement on its Kabwe plant with African Compass International Limited a private South African group engaged in mining, energy and agri-business. Full details of the announcement can be seen here:

Mkango is focused on the development of the Songwe Hill rare earth project and Thambani uranium project in Malawi. Songwe has advanced from an early stage in 2010 through two phases of drilling, resource definition and extensive metallurgical test work to completion of a pre-feasibility study in September 2014, updated in November 2015, one of only a handful of rare earths projects globally to have advanced beyond this stage and amongst the lowest capex in the sector
The project is an open pittable deposit with long mine life, has significant expansion options, favourable mineralogy and a rare earth mix geared to the high growth permanent magnet sector, and is located in a strategically important rare earths mineral province.
